The controller of personal data collected through the serio.fm platform (mobile app and website) is Adrian Górny, residing at Lema 2c, 80-126 Gdańsk, Polska (hereinafter: “Controller”). Contact with the Controller is possible via email: support@serio.fm.
Account registration (Reader and Author): Email address, username, password (encrypted), IP address. Purpose: Performance of the electronic service agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Author billing data (future): First name, last name, residential address, PESEL, bank account number. Purpose: Fulfillment of legal and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Analytics data: Device information, operating system, playback history and chapters read. Purpose: Legitimate interest of the Controller in improving the application (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your data may be transferred to entities processing it on behalf of the Controller: hosting and infrastructure providers (Google Firebase), AI/audio technology providers and — for Authors receiving payouts — external settlement partners (e.g. Useme). Some of these entities may process data outside the European Economic Area under Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.
Every user has the right to: access their data, rectify it, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restrict processing, data portability, and lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
Data will be stored for the duration of the user's account activity on the application. Upon account deletion, data is removed, except for data necessary to defend against claims or fulfill tax obligations (five years from the end of the tax year). You can delete your account and the data associated with it at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing support@serio.fm.
The platform uses only essential technologies (Local Storage and cookies) to maintain the user session and remember preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can change settings in your browser.
